Welcome to the official A.I. Fest WhatsApp Community! These groups exist exclusively for our local player base to communicate, trade singles, discuss events, and stay connected. These are private groups intended only for active members of our community, and participation is a privilege, not a right. The following rules and membership requirements are used as guidelines to determine eligibility and continued participation. By participating, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions:
Group Rules:
- No Swearing / Profanity: Please maintain a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
- No Trolling / Spamming: Be respectful of others’ time and contributions. Disruptive behavior, trolling, or spamming will not be tolerated.
- Show Respect and Decorum: Treat all members with respect. Any form of harassment, racism, profanity, sexual content, derogatory comments, or inappropriate behavior will lead to disciplinary action.
- Keep Messages Related: Messages must be related to the topic of the group at all times. Any unrelated messages will be deleted without warning. Disciplinary action may be applied to repeat offenders.
Membership Requirements:
- Regular Attendance: Group members must be regular attendees of A.I. Fest events, attending at least two events per month at A.I. Fest. Members with no attendance for two consecutive months will be removed from the group/community without prior notice.
- Privacy Notice: By joining, you acknowledge that your phone number will be visible to other members of our WhatsApp Community and Groups. A.I. Fest cannot be held responsible for any misuse of this information by other members.
- Restricted Membership: Members cannot be Owners, Staff, Tournament Organisers, TCG Judges or Volunteers of other Stores or Tournament Organisations. Any member found to be affiliated with another Store or Tournament Organization will be removed without notice.
- Residency: Members must reside in Gauteng, South Africa to be eligible for group membership.
Group Activities:
- Trading and Selling: Members may trade or sell TCG Singles within the respective groups. Only TCG Singles of the related game may be traded or sold within the relevant game’s group. Trading with other members must be fair, done honestly and in good faith. Members found taking advantage of others will be banned from A.I. Fest, as well as banned from the A.I. Fest WhatsApp Community and Groups with immediate effect. Selling of TCG Sealed Products and Accessories is strictly prohibited. However, using the group solely for the purpose of selling or trading, without active participation in discussions or community engagement, is not permitted. This group is intended to foster a community, not function as a personal sales platform.
- Advertising: Advertising or promoting other Stores’ products, events, tournaments, or sales is not allowed.
- Discussions: Please keep the group focused on the A.I. Fest community, events, tournaments, products and sales. All messages must be relating to the group’s topic at all times. Discussions relating to other stores is not allowed.
Violations and Disciplinary Actions:
To ensure a positive group experience, any rule violations will be addressed as follows:
- First Violation: Warning issued privately to the member.
- Second Violation: Formal warning and notification of consequences for further issues.
- Third Violation: Removal from the group.
